World War I

Crisis Simulation - World War One

Committee Synopsis: “This is the prospect when the system of mutual outbidding in armaments, taken to the final extreme, at last bears its inevitable fruits. Simulate and experience the First World War in a new way and change one of the greatest deltas of history in the 20th century.

Hello! My name is Michayla McIntyre and I’m from Manassas, Virginia. I’m a senior at VCU majoring in International Studies with a concentration in International Social Justice. I am most interested in geopolitical conflict and plan on getting my master’s degree in conflict resolution after graduating from VCU, so Model UN has been an irrefutable help in developing my diplomacy and public speaking skills. Outside of MUN, I also work as a director of TEDxVCU and enjoy playing soccer, watching hockey and going to concerts!
